I am trying to run a pair of computers using Labview RT (a PXI chassis running Labview 8.6 RT controlled by a Dell machine running windows 7) and so far have been unable to obtain full connectivity. I can manipulate the target machine with the Windows machine via MAX (I can reboot it remotely, etc.), but when I open a project on the Windows machine and try to connect to the RT target, I get the 'Conflict Resolution' dialog window with the following messages: 'Unable to resolve from current dialog' and 'Failed to connect to Real-time target'. The machines are connected via ethernet port. The Windows 7 machine has the latest Labview RT module installed, and the PXI machine has been used as a RT device by other PXI machines. What steps should I take to resolve this?
