Labview Student Version for Windows and Mac, ver 8.2

Hi all, I have purchased Labview Student Version for Windows and Mac, ver 8.2 somewhere in 2008 or 2009 (can't remember exactly the date). I was wondering if I can reinstall the LabView version in my new laptop and download any new update d version if there is any. I have tried to activate the serial number that I have in NI.com webpage but to no avail. Kindly seek your help and guidance.

What kind of error do you get when you try to activate? You should be able to activate 8.2, but not newer versions.

(If this is for personal use, maybe the free LabVIEW Community Edition is an option.)
