Hi Kia,
There isn't a known issue with the Index in the LV Help file so the most likely explanation is that your help file has somehow gotten corrupted. I bet that if you run a repair on LabVIEW, or simply reinstall it, the crash will go away.
Please give this a try and let me know if the error continues.
