Labview does not recognize a change in an Active X interface when it has been re-registered on the system?

The componet could have new methods or properites. I can un-register and register may times and labview will not see the new interface. It is like the labview VI keeps a local copy within it's self and the copy fails to get updated when the new replacement interface is registered. I can even delete the Active X reference and install a new reference and repoint it to the new interface. In the meantime Teststand will show the new methods or properties. Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. I am using the latest version of TS and Labview on a Windows 2000/NT platform.

If you unregister the ActiveX server, but do not re-register, does LabVIEW still list it as being registered?

If I unregister the component it will not see the interface to select or use a function while writting code
