Labview driver for a berkleynucleonics 565 pulse/delay generator

I have just bought a Berkley Nucleonics 565 pulse/delay generator as a backup for the now obselete 555 delay generator I currently use and hoped to use the 555 drivers for the new model .Alas! this seems to do strange things to the generator. Can anyone advise me if there exists  drivers for the 565 or if the 555 drivers can be adapted? The company its self have no new drivers for this model. If someone has some info regarding this subject I would gratefully like to hear from them.

Hi,

I'm afraid that National Instruments can not help you out with this request. I've checked the instrument driver network and there is only a LabVIEW driver available for the older model.

You can send in a request for this driver:

http://www.ni.com/devzone/idnet/

Maybe you can alter the old driver, if you have the manual available from the instrument with a list of commands you can send to it.

Otherwise It's up to the people on the forum.

Regards.

Hello,

Were you able to secure a driver for the 565? If not please let me know, I may have a drive that should work for you.

I too could use some LabVIEW drivers for the 565.

Writing them should not be too hard, but please let me know if you have already found something.

Thanks!!
