Labview executable has no Icon

I have Labview 2011. I have the Labview 2011 devlopment system. It does not have the service pack installed on this version. The aplication builder is not putting the icon onto the executable. It is blank at this time.

Under the application builder I put the following icon inside. The executable icon is blank.

Do you have it specified properly in the build specification?

Is it present in all the required resolutions and sizes?

Well, if I have a look into my crystal ball, I'd say your icon is blank in the application because... your icon is blank. Open the .ico file and look at it.

It's just a guess, mind you.

It turns out that I was missing the 16x16 icon. I have the 32x32 icon. It only dawn on me that the Icon for the VI has ben switched to 32x32. Mike Porter hit it on the nail.

Well, that's certainly interesting, since all I saw was a blank icon when I opened your icon file. Maybe the tool I'm using to open icon files is too old.

I had a similar issue. From one build to the next of a piece of code, the EXE icon became blank when I had not touched anything in that area. I went back to a previous version than did have an icon and rebuilt it, and that icon was gone also. So without much hope I rebooted my PC and , hey presto, all the icons were back even without rebuilding. Very mysterious, but that is it what happened. So if you lose you icon, reboot your PC.
