I'm working with Labview 2011, and trying to create a measurment sofware. I'd like to communicate with two devices: RS ETL http://www.rohde-schwarz.com/en/driver/etl/ and SMU200 http://www.rohde-schwarz.com/en/driver/smu200a/ . I have a problem with loading the subvi-s, because the two drivers have both Attribute.ctl file and labview loads just one of them for the two instrument and creates errors for the other instrument. In the hierarchy only one Attribute.ctl appears and that is common. Could somebody tell me, how can I solve this problem?
There should not be any conflicts with project style drivers but I don't know what you are using. There are some app notes at http://www.rohde-schwarz.com/en/driver/smu200a/ that might help. Since the drivers were not written by NI, you should contact r&s.
Yep, R&S did not make their drivers libraries in order to avoid this. You should be yelling at them.
