Hm.. That is actually a really good point. I installed DAQmx every time I installed LabVIEW. That could very well be what's causing the issue. I don't think I have a way around it because I need the drivers to talk with my DAQs. Hopefully, the support team will see this since I linked to this page on the ticket.

I can confirm the issue on at least 3 Laptops
It affects HP Elitebook 840 G3 as well as Version G5 under Windows 10
Wifi card is the "Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260" on the HP G3 version.
Installed software and drivers:
NI GPIB-USB-HS Adapter (NI VISA / NI 488.2)
LabView Runtime LVRTE2016_f5Patchstd.exe

Yes it's just after installing NI DAQ 18+.
I still have to hibernate computer and reboot . No sleep or I lose my wifi.
Please NI, resolve this issue.

I have been in contact with the NI support team regarding this issue and they have so far recommended the following:
"I've looked into the issue and it seems like there's been instances of this occurring with the Intel Dual Band Wireless Adapter. During the investigation, updating the Intel Ethernet controller driver resolved the issue. I've attached a link below that should walk you through upgrading this:
Identify Your Intel® Wireless Adapter and Wi-Fi Driver Version
https://www.intel.com/content/
There is a link to the latest driver on there as well.
I have tried this and so far I have had no issues. Granted I was only seeing the issue intermittently before I did the driver update so it is possible I am just lucky so far.

Hello everyone,
First I changed my username, HCCM = TUXX (old) ... So let's talk about the issue! I have tried some things as an alternative to avoid formatting my computer again. And so far, or I've been lucky, or I've got some sort of solution to the problem.
What did I do? I have just disabled all system startup processes that refer to National Instruments and I have been using my computer for 2 weeks without restarting the operational system. That's it, I had to use the sleep mode often, with battery, plugged in, with low battery, etc. So far, everything is fine and my Intel AC 7260 Wireless Dual Band Adapter seems to work fine every time I come back from the sleep mode.
Now, I will try to start the NI Device Monitor and other NI startup programs to check again: sleep mode, coming back from the sleep mode, and so on.

For information I had this exact problem running Labview 2013 32 bit install on a Windows 10 64 bit Dell laptop (e7440) with the Intel Dual Band AC7260 WiFi card. Updating the Intel drivers as recommended above did not fix the problem. Disabling all NI tasks at startup did not fix the problem.
My Labview install has worked for years with Labview 2013 and DAQmx 16.0. The problem arose when I wanted to start to work with the serial port and installed NI-Serial 17.5
Thankfully I had a restore point, and was able to recover full functionality. I tested it twice more and the problem definitely started with the installation of NI-Serial 17.5 on my machine.
I have not come up with a solution.

Hello the same issue on my laptop,
To eliminate any doubts and suspicions about a specific computer, I did following:
- I took exactly the same model of DELL Latitude E6230 as my laptop which has the issue with WiFi after wake-up
- I put a brand new SSD into the laptop
- I installed Win10, 64bit, build from April 2019
- I installed DELL driver for WiFi
- I installed Office 2019
- I downloaded a few Win updates until they detected that there is nothing to download
- I made the image of SSD
- I tried at least 30x sleep mode, and woke up the laptop, I tried to restart /switch OFF / ON and several times, WiFi always worked without any problems, (no Win10 WiFi issue as NI support claims)
- I installed LabView 2019, LabView NXG3.1 and everything the installer itself recommended (among others it installed DAQmx)
-wake WiFi immediately stopped working after rebooting, disabling and re-enabling the WiFi adapter does not help, either Win FastStartUp enable/disable does not help
- I refreshed the SSD by image with fresh Win10 + Office2019
- then I installed only LV 2019, LV NXG3.1
- WiFi works smoothly after waking up, no Win10 WiFi issue.
-then I installed DAQmx
-WiFi stopped working after waking up, disabling and re-enabling the wifi adapter does not help
I see a very obvious causal link between installing NIDAQmx and the difficulty of waking up WiFi.
I very much welcome advice on how to install NIDAQ into a usable state after installing NIDAQ (hibernation is out of the question, because closing the display at least 10 times a day is both time consuming and will destroy the SSD soon)
Having absolute no issues with Win10 64bit, LabVIEW 2016 and NIDAQmx from 2016 till now when I reinstalled to NI SW from 2019.
Hope somebody help me

Fresh Win10 64bit, installed strictly NI DAQmx, nothing else even suggested. The same issue with not working WiFi after wake-up from sleep mode.
Solution:
go to Win services and disable all NI services, Turn off Windows, start your laptop and you can enjoy fully functional WiFi after wake-up from sleep mode.
Stupid I know, but no better solution yet.

If you have the time, is it possible for you to determine which NI service is causing the problem? I had to buy another laptop for all non NI related work. Sure wish we could get some attention from NI on this issue.
