Hi All,
I am getting the following error intermittently when running applications (built using application builder) which contains FPGA code. This causes the application to crash and shutdown as its a fatal error.
Labview Version: 8.5.1
FPGA Version: 8.5.1
NI RIO: 3.2.1
It only happens when the code starts to initialise the FPGA. I have only seen this error when an executable is compiled and has seen it on different machines using different applications (different code entirely).
I was wondering if anyone else has faced the same issue and fixed it / found a work around. I did a search for this but cant find anything to do with Labviewv.llb.
thanks and regards,
SS

Hi SS,
Have you tried a repair of LabVIEW since this error started occuring? It appears that that particular library is having trouble finding the function. Try repairing and let me know if it still occurs.
Kind Regards,

Jason,
Thanks for the reply. I have seen this error on different PXI systems so I think its not to do with LabVIEW installation as such.
One thing we did figure was that the RIO device was loosing its settings as shown below when the error happened!
The code SOMETIMES works after a restart or works EVERYTIME if We set the settings above, applied it AND ran the RIO self calibration.
I know it is a long shot but may be the self calibration resets/re-initialises references or something?
Any ideas?
Thanks and regards,
SS
