for me it seems that there's a COM object for controlling the scope on-board. try this link:

Thanks for your help. I think i have finally got myself figured out. I just used the VICP (supplied by LeCroy - i think its an alternative to TCPIP) with the loopback address and hey presto it worked.

I am now running LV on the scope and i'm able to access the data using both LeCroy's LV Driver (IVI) and the NI LV Driver (VISA) to do with what i want.

LV is the best!
