Hi,
After being able to execute the program in Labview 32bits, I'm wondering whether you can advise on how i can have a better visualisation of what the velodyne 16 is giving me. Basically i would like to replicate veloview sofware representation of my lidar to labview to give me a better understanding of environment for me to apply feature extraction and objection detection algorithm
Thanks

Hi elah,
how i can have a better visualisation of what the velodyne 16 is giving me.
When you want advice for this topic you should provide more information!
- Which kind of data do you receive from your sensor?
- Whick kind of display do you want to create? How should the data be presented to the user?

Hello,
The sensor i used is Velodyne 16 channels which is LIDAR sensor and data are represented into point cloud data.
The sensor comes with a software called veloview which represent what it sees and can be saved in csv files
However I want to have the same representation that veloview gives in labview. Here is sample images.

Hi guys,
i have been able to put the cursor on to rotate visualization given. However the data and representation given from the lidar on labview is not same as veloview representation yet. The point represented are unstable compare to veloview.
Not much can be seen on the pics below but any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Has anyone attempted to display Velodyne 16 channels on Lab View. If not have you got an idea on how I can accurately display the different laser beam as accurately as Veloview displays it.

Elah
