License issue

    hi folks,

i have a  develoer suite  license for 8.5 and i recently installed labview for blackfin  evaluation version now my whole system is showing as evaluation version,

then i asked for the activation of the Developer suite  from one of the NI Tech support  person after the activation  ,

unfortunately my application builder is not  activated i was wondering how i can go back to  Developer suite 8.5 edition?  

does anybody experienced this problem

Hi Shridharj,

You can go to StartMenu>>National Instruments>>License manager and select the product (application builder?) that you want to activate. Enter the Serial Number of your License and activate (you should have internet connection in this PC). Also it is good idea to request an email confirmation for your activation (normally through a check-box at the last step of activation dialog). This way the activation code (corresponding to your PC) for all the products available with your license will be provided. Incase you run into any issues later, you can directly use the activation code to activate the product.

Thanks for you advice  , i got this resolved through NI tech support

basically it was full package activation code rather than the Professional Package
