Logical question, it's not enought to know LabVIEW, it's necessary intelligence...

Michelle,

You indicate that you do not want to rotate the array.

Yet you show everytime a rotated array.

If I go from: 12345 to 61234, I basically rotate the array, and insert the new element at the first spot.

so if I would continue this operation, I would get:

761234

876123

987612

And hence would stop the while loop.

Isn't that what you are asking?

After doing this forum for more than nine years I have to admit this thread went into previously uncharted teritory. Never saw Dennis want to vote anyone off the island before (well maybe alfa).

We never did see any code from the OP did we?

Nope, but everything any of us said was stupid.

Only a couple of images and they looked poorly written.

Combine alfa with sajibn and a todler having a temper tantrum, you have this poster.

It's frustrating trying to help and seeing no sign of good will or just a little effort from the OP unless you present the complete solution as a finished VI... Smiley Wink

The desire for complete working solutions is exactly what I would expect from a student with homework due very soon. Don't know the source of the beligerance and would not want to speculate.

Actually he exited stage left and found LAVA where we managed to get the message thru about how to post and get real replies. See this thread on LAVA to see that "he got better." Sajib really wants to work with LV, I don't get the same sense from the OP in this thead.
