Using SCXI 1520 cards total of 40 strain gages to be monitored, and dynamic strain measurements required to monitor loads in a lift (bascule) bridge.

Have you looked at the DAQ signal conditioning pallete that includes a strain gauge VI? What other functions are you looking for?
