I work at a startup semiconductor company in Silicon Valley, and we are looking for another LabVIEW programmer. There is an opportunity for a high equity pay arrangement, so if anyone is interested in a 2 to 4 month contracting job with good potential for being hired on after that, please contact me.

Thank you for this information. I am sorry, that I found the wrong place but can you tell me where to find the right one?
As a Labview programmer looking for a new job and being unaware of any such forums, I would also be interested in knowing where this "right place" is.

I expressed this same concern at Feedback on Developer Exchange. It will be good if more people add replies asking for a place for job openings and resumes.

All those places require a fee to post an ad. I would be happy to let people post there adverts here. It not like we are going to be overwhelmed with posts of this nature and even so I still would not mind since I make my living doing LV and am gratified to know that I am in demand.

Actually, a usenet newsgroup catering to Labview Programmers is a perfectly fine and appropriate place for such a post!! I would do it myself, and hope that others would as well.
NI has created an interesting interaction between their own website and the usenet, and this is one of the results. The benefits from this arrangement probably exceed small inconveniences such as this post that you find objectionable.
