I need for a PCI-104 based autopilot, an A/D converter(s) with the following characteristics:
32 single ended channels
16 diff channels
16 bit (minimum) resolution
This is going in a turbine powered UAV with strong engine tones that have been observed at 2500Hz. The initial filter design was a 20Hz low pass analog filter, with oversampling and some king of digital filter on top of that. We were planning an aggregate sampling for the 48 channels to be somewhere between 250 and 500 ksps. We were told by one company that we could not achieve those rates with their board while using that analog filter, because of the way their mux and A/D chip work together. Essentially we would have to 'wait' longer with the signal on the pin before the measurement would become meaningful.
We are also open to filtering ideas you may suggest.
Ethernet would work, as well as PCI with some sort of adapter to go to the PCI-104 interface on our system. 'RocketIO' is also available.

You could look at NI's S-Series DAQ cards. They have a ADC for each channel instead of a MUX.
