Hi,
I've been looking for a piece of code/external solution to open dwg/dxf-files and interpret them. A bitmap is not enough, I actually want to interpret lines, points,.. I wish to use this data for image processing (Vision +LV2010) and am willing to buy a license if needed.
Is there anything out there?
Specifically, does http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3718 still exist and would it work for my purposes?
Thanks,
Birgit

Hi Birgit.
Have you seen http://forums.ni.com/t5/Machine-Vision/how-to-combine-vision-assistant-and-motion-assistant/td-p/172... ? It says, that you can combine NI Vision and Motion.
Regrettably I have not been using this combination yet.
I hope that someone else will provide more help, Guenter

Thank you, I really like the xml-Files I can generate with Motion Assistant and could work with them - if there was any way of creating them not by hand , but within LabVIEW.
Sure, there are workarounds for this, but then again, a) I need something stable and b) I could write some interpreter for myself or call a foreign library (anyone ever tried CADImporter with LabVIEW?) or do my image processing with C++..
Thanks,
Birgit
