Thank you guys for the suggestions!

 

Sorry for late reply, I wasn't able to come back to this until today. The reentrant was grey out as well, so I can't untick it.

 

However, after a few trials, including untick the read-only and with admin windows login (previously was on operator account) etc, I was able to untick the reentrant and get the debug back to live.

 

 

Yes, our LabView here is old version (7.1), that's what my bosses think it's enough for what we need for now...

Yes, read only VI's is hard to change. 🙂
The newer versions have some prettier UI items, which can be offset by using System controls, and some helpful functionalities, but all important stuff exist in 7.1.

I dont know if e.g. error wires can be wired directly to a case structure to have Error/No error case (i think you can), but it's easy enough to extract the Error Status, and similar.
