MAX and 2 ethernet cards

I have two network cards-

1) used for internet

2) For FP 1601 and Tektronix scope 3032B (Using a hub for these)

I tried using MAX to add TCPIP resource corresponding to 3032B oscilloscope, but it did not work.  Is there a problem in identifying the card due to 2 cards?  The subnet addresses are different for the 2 cards.  The IP address for 2nd card is not in conflict with IP addresses on the local network.  I have tested the http command to view the scope in internet explorer and it works, but the MAX does not work. Any suggestions to solve this problem?

Couple of questions for you:

1.  What version of NI-VISA do you have installed?
2.  Is the scope simply not being auto-detected?
3.  Does it work if you manually type in the IP address or hostname of the scope?

Scope is not being auto detected.

3.  Does it work if you manually type in the IP address or hostname of the scope?

does not work even if I manually type in the IP address.

I am guessing if my scope has some firmware download missing from Tektronix.  I will appreciate any inputs/suggestions to solve the problem.

I'd recommend trying the latest version of NI-VISA, 3.6, to see if that makes a difference.  Is there any reason you need to stick with 3.0.1?
