I upgraded my system from 8.6.1 to 2009 with DSC and it appears that I have lost the ability to import and export MAX configurations (.nce) for historical traces. In MAX when I select File->Import there use to be a a way to select Historical Data Viewer 2.0 configurations, now I only have the option for NI-DAQmx 8.6 and NI-VISA 4.4. This is a fundamental way that I set up over 60 clients with the historical data from the DSC modules. Anybody else having this problem?
This is a screen shot from MAX 4.5.0f0 that installed with 8.6.1. MAX 4.6.0f1 that installed with 2009 does not show the Historical Data Viewer 2.0 option and therefore I can not select any historical trace configurations to export.

There is a known issue, although I'm not aware of a CAR, regarding MAX getting "broken" and unable to export Scales, Channels, and obviously as you've shown Traces. I can't export Scales and Channels, which was a problem on two machines with 8.6.1 and now 2009. One of my mashines works fine. Upgrading DAQmx doesn't fix it. I have been told by NI that the "break" happens when MAX gets corrupted then fixed (although this feature remains broken).
This thread shows _Bryan (the OP) and me complaining about this.

Hey guys,
There is a CAR (#197859) currently open for this exact problem. The problem only lies within DSC 2009, but the fix is targeted to arrive with DSC 2010. As of now, the current workaround is to revert back to DSC 8.6, but keep a look out for a possible fix coming soon. I hope this helps.
Regards,
