MEASURING FORCE ON BALANCE USING AN ELECTRONIC BALANCE FROM THE SERIAL PORT

I would like to wire up but my tools palette in LV6.0 is missing!... What shall I do?

And in addition to John's global fix, there is a third solution so ingrained that I didn't think of it (and which is probably still covered in the "Getting Started with LabVIEW" material which it's best not to skip):

PRESS the TAB key to CHANGE the current tool. Pressing repeatedly cycles through the most significant ones. You do not need the palette to change tools.

Thanks. I have managed to solve the problem. I have just installed LV6.1 on my PC. It does have ALL the palletes. If I uninstall and install LV6.0, it might solve the problem permanently. Anyway I am still getting correct balanced readings PLUS zero readings here and there. However If I run the LV in HIGHLIGHT EXECUTION mode I get CORRECT readings ALL the time. A friend told me that the computer is fast and the BALANCE is slow and no matter how you program the LV, it will always give correct and zero readings. He adviced me to always RUN in the HIGLIGHT EXECUTION mode. Is there a way to solve the problem? I have alrady tried ALL the LV timers! The LV is attached.
