MY_APP.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created.

Hi,
you can capture the standard output (the results of your MY_APP.EXE execution) after using a System Exec.VI and according with this, you can find out if there was an error and create a log file (or restart the application)

Lab Viewer, excuse my ignorance, but I am not sure how to do what you are telling me. I found the system exec.vi, but not sure how to use it. Thanks for any more input.
