[Mac] Building DLL with LV6

Did someone successfully built a DLL using LV6 on a mac.
I get -1728 error (AppleEvent Error, missing param) in the last step of the
built process right after the "building application..."
If the answer is yes, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Chris

I tried also to build a Shared Library (DLL) on LabVIEW 6 on Mac OS. I got the same error. I just came across what I believe is the answer. You must have Apple MPW (Macintosh Programmer's Workshop) installed on your computer. I have not tried this yet, but I believe that it is the problem. It makes sense, however, that LabVIEW uses some functionality of MPW and uses AppleEvents to do so.

Greetings!

The following link is a great starting point for trying the upgrade. Mac OSX opens VIs that are built in windows and vice versa.

It is a huge shift and you might come across some issues of older VIs no longer in the pallette and so forth.  So lets try one step at a time. Please let me know how it goes.

Thanks and hope this helps. Good luck
Best regards
Avi Harjani
