Mac and RS232

Hello,

I am running LabVIEW on my Apple iBook Maschine. Unfortunately, LabVIEW
crashes as I insert VISA-Routines having affair with RS232. That
means, it crashes instantly as I insert something in my block diagram.
Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Hi Bernhard,

Does this only happen with VISA serial VIs or with all VISA VIs. If you try opening the Basic Serial Write and Read example VI from the example finder, does LabVIEW still crash? You might have a corrupt installation, and I would suggest reinstalling the latest version of the VISA driver for your OS from here. Hope this helps. Good luck!
