Make an object "always on top" in a tab control

Is it possible to keep an object to be "always on top" when place in a tab control... I mean no matter which tab I choose to view that object will be visible and usable. I know the simplest would be by placing that object outside the tab control but I was just thinking if this is possible so that to make my front panel "cleaner" and more presentable.

this was discussed some days ago: move your control with the arrow keys (!) over your tab control.

Hmm ,sometimes the solutions to the problems are "shokingly" simple which is a good thing. I was actually looking forward to really extended way around it.
