Making my Start/Stop Buttons Work

In the attached VI, I want the sine wave generator to run when I hit the Start button and stop when I hit the Stop button.  A While loop--inside or out of the Event structure--doesn't seem to help.

Ideas?

Would it be possible to make the Start button (visually) pop back out after being pressed, or is that complicated somehow?

Change the latching for the booleans.  You won't be able to use your local variables, though.

Okay, put it to "Switch Until Release" and it seemed to do the trick.  Thanks again.

The Booleans just have to be moved inside the event structure. Start inside the Start event and Stop inside the Stop event. The indicators you have can be deleted.
