MatLab nodes and executables

I am trying to build an exectuable to run an embedded Matlab script. I have Matlab release 13 installed (must access the network to validate a liscence), along with LabVIEW 7.0. My executeable will not execute on all machines, though. I have tried the Matscript.dll fix (replacing the files with ver 7.0.0.2). On one machine I can run the vi...but that can be rather inconvienent. What's the problem National Instruments?

What happens when you try to run the executables? Do you get an error message from windows or LabVIEW? Do you have administrator privledges when you installed the run time engine (RTE) on the remote computers? Are you trying to run the executable as the administrator? Do any executables work?

When I try to run executables I get NO error messages, I just see an item on my taskbar, that has the name of the program, and it never opens up. When I look at the task messener it says "Not Responding." I have administrator privelges when I install and when I run it on any PC. If I remove the Matlab script, then the executables run fine. I am really stumped. The executable runs on some PCs, but not on mine. I would like to use my own programs. THanks!

I could not find anything about this problem online. I suspect the problem is with the computers and not LabVIEW being as how it works on some of the machines. You might try reinstalling the software on the bad computer. It is not a great solution but it will rule out a bad install.

Jeremy,
Thanks for your help, but this has not worked. Here is what I have discovered. The executable runs on PCs that do not have MatLab installed. Meaning the users can run everything but the Matlab script. However, the executables do not run on PCs that have Matlab installed. I have tried the 7.0.0.2 dll fix, and still nothing. I wrote a program that simpy contained a Matlab sript node, and the same thing happened. If the node is removed, the executable runs fine. I would really like to get this worked out.
