Measurement & Automation Ex. does not find cards, ports, tasks, software anymore

Hi everyone,

this is my first post so i hope i'm right

to my roblem:

Until yesterday our measuring PC (LV 8.0 / MAX 4.0)

worked without any problems.

This morning, after turning on the pc the 6601, 6024e as well as all COM Ports, tasks and software couldn't be found in the Measurement and Automation explorer.

So what happend? The PC was off the whole night and the only action going on was me turning it on this morning.

Tested until now:

- restart PC --> nothing

- checked if windows lists the cards --> Yes they are listed

- I used the repair function of LabVIEW found under windows/software --> Nothing happend

I absolutely have no glue what's going on and where to take the next action

any form of hint would be great

Hey guys,

thank's a lot due to sickness today's the day I had the chance to test your suggestions.

And I think it worked.

there was the solution.

All devices and software are listed again. Only the tasks are lost forever but I think I can handle it.

If there are any other unforseen problems I let you know it.
