Merging Front panel Controls

Hi

I have to develop a meter which can show direction,rotation & pitch. Can anyone guide me the procedure of creating a new control from scratch. I have attached my design meter in attachments.

There are two basic ways you could implement something like that. You could start with a standard control and modify the way it looks or build an xcontrol that implements the desired look. Given what you want to accomplish, both could be tricky. Do a search of the forum for both topics, there have been several very good conversations about both approaches.
