What compilation settings did you use in MSVC 2017?

Did you choose in the linker tab to include the C runtime library in the DLL (-MT) or to load it as an external dependency (-MD).

 

If the second you also have to install the Microsoft Visual C Runtime library on your target machine by running the distributable C Runtime Installer for your Microsoft Visual C version.
