Missing VIs...

Good morning everybody,

I'm trying to use LabVIEW files that were developped under LabVIEW 6.1. Unfortunately, these files are not working anymore with LabVIEW 8.2, two VI are missing but I didn't find any information on the web for them.

I'm looking for "Set up conditional retrieval.vi" and "Calculate Buffer Size 3.vi". Does anyone know where I can find these two VIs?

Hi Sylvain,

those vis seem to be related to this article (chapter E)...
"Conditional retrieval" is a setting for (traditional) DAQ vis. But the vi names you gave seem "unfamiliar" for vi.lib-vis.
Maybe those are user vis? Are they somewhere hidden in the LV6.1 sources? Can you still open the original source in LV6.1?

Thank you very much for your answer.

I finally found the vi called "Set up conditional retrieval" on the web.

Regarding the other one, I assume you are right, it's a vi that has been developped internally... By the way, with the installation of traditional NI-DAQ (v7.4.4), "Set up conditional retrieval.vi", I found a vi called "Calculate buffer size". Everything combined makes my application to work !
