Missing nidaq32.dll after upgrade to 8.0.

I recently had my LabVIEW 7.0 upgraded to 8.0.  The technician uninstalled all run-time engines and software relation to National Instruments.  he then installed 8.0 and the necessary drivers.  However when I try to run any of my previous programs, I get the error "This application has failed to start because nidaq32.dll was not found."  Our lab had created several data acquisition programs in 7.0 and now I can't get any of them to work even with the 7.0 run-time engine reinstalled.  Any help with the situation would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
-Justin

You don't have traditional daq installed. DAQmx was introduced with 7.0 and is a replacement for the old DAQ functions. I think that the traditional DAQ driver is included with LabVIEW but it may not be part of the default install. If you don't have a copy, you can go to http://www.ni.com/support/ and get it. I think the latest version is 7.4.1.

Hello! I have  a .exe program made in labview 6.1 on Windows 2000. Now I want to work with labview 8.6. After I put Windows XP SP2 on the same computer,I put labview 8.6 and labview 6.1. If I want to open this .exe it shows me this error: "This application faild to start because nidaq32.dll was not found. Re-instaling the application may fix this problem". I have installed again labview 6.1 and nothing. I also installed DAQmx, Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy)... any ideas?

Thank you for any answers,

Emilia
