Missing some IMAQ Analysis VI?

How come I cannot find some of the IMAQ Analysis VI on the function panel, including:
IMAQ Choose Measurements
IMAQ ComplexParticle
IMAQ BasicParticle

I can find IMAQ ComplexParticle by opening the Analysis lib, but not on the function panel. I cannot find the other two.
I am using Labview 7.1 and IMAQ 3.0.1.

This is a screen I captured for the Analysis tab.

Hi mehmetg -

Can you tell me which version of NI Vision you're working with?  The screenshot you provided shows all the VIs that should appear on the Vision 7.x palette.

Are you trying to open a program that looks for them?  If so, which version of Vision was used to write the program?  Was some of the code generated using Vision Assistant, Vision Builder, or Vision Builder AI?  The palettes are sometimes regarranged between versions of our software to increase usability.  There are also several low-level functions used in auto-generated code that are not normally exposed in the API.

Take a look at this link.  It deals with missing VIs after upgrading but should be able to use the same technique to fix your problem.

I am using Labview 7.1.

I am writing all the code by hand, I remember seeing those VIs before, but cannot find it now
The Complex Particle, BasicParticle aren't they  standard VI that should be shown on the function plate on Labview 7.1.

Thanks

Hi mehmetg -

I haven't seen those Vis before, and I can't find any reference to them in the literature for Vision 7.0 or 7.1.  As I mentioned earlier, palettes are rearranged in newer versions, and sometimes high-level composite VIs are changed or renamed.  This could have happened if you saw them in an older version of the module and can't find them now.

What type of processing are you trying to perform?  I'll be happy to help you utilize the palettes available to you in this version.
