Missing some signals processing Vi

Hi every one

I do not have some vi in my computer. Like upsample.vi , MT pulse shaping.vi ,tx_modulationparams.ctl ,MT filter generate  coefficients.vi .

All of above are part of signal processing plate or signal operation vi.

So, Some one told me in 64 bit computer , these Vi are not available , I tried on 32bit windows, It is not working AGAIN!!Smiley Mad

Please help which driver I should download Or what should I download to see above Vi s?

Thank you for your Help and knowledge

The most common LabVIEW setup is (probably) 32-bit LabVIEW on 64-bit Windows (that's what I use).  64-bit LabVIEW has some pieces missing, but there is no need to run 32-bit LabVIEW on a 32-bit Windows machine, Win64 is just fine.

If you are missing VIs, they are probably part of a Toolkit or Module that you didn't install (perhaps because you didn't purchase it?).

What is the name of TOOL KIT in this case.

my teacher said nothing about it. It should have a name?

I don't know.  Can you describe what you are trying to do?  Some Toolkit names are Digital Filter, Control Design and Simulation, Modulation, System Identification, Adaptive Filter, Spectral Measurements, Sound and Vibration, etc.

Whoever told you that doesn't know wha they're talking about unless they meant that some VIs aren't included with 64bit LabVIEW, which is true. Some stuff is not supported on 64bit LabVIEW yet.

That Upsample.vi is part of the Signal Operation VIs, and should have been included with your install...

Cheers

I think I figured it out -- you probably need the Modulation Toolkit (that explains the MT in your function names).  Go ask to have that installed.

I am workig with 32 bit version of the software.

Upsample.vi is not available. I even used the LABVIEW VERSION of the university, still does not include that!! they paid for it , it does not have.

what is the solution? what is wrong?

LabVIEW is distributed on 3-5 DVDs.  Almost noone tries to install everything, thy just install what they need.  The typical installation, especially at a University, installs no Toolkits.  You need to ask to have the appropriate Toolkits installed -- if you are working with a University Software Distribution, it will include the "missing" Toolkits.

How long did it take for you to "install everything"?  Was it more than half an hour?  More than 2 hours?
