Hello,
I am looking for a motor and driver that is compatible with Labview 8.6 and will allow ease of manipulation of features such as rpm and torque in the GUI. I am currently using a kollmorgen motor and driver but have had no luck communicating or ooperating the motor through labview, due the fact the company does not support interface with NI products. So is there any motor control packages already offered by National Instruments as an alternative?
(I have attached the manual for the Kollmorgen product as well, if anybody thinks it could be salvaged through the use of VISA controls that would be cool too)
Thanks,

We use Copley Controls Xenus drives for many of our test stands. Very easy to control through LabVIEW/CANOpen via their supplied driver (Copley Motion Objects). The downside is that you'll need a CAN interface compatible with the driver (NI Series 2 hardware is compatible, but expensive).

You can learn about all the motion control products NI has to offer by visiting www.ni.com/motion/. Hope this helps!
