Mourse cursor not changing during execution

"Hi,
I am faced with a unique problem.During the execution of my exe, when I come to a certain panel, the mouse cursor does not change from the pointer to the action tool.I have to tab it once to get it to change to select anything on the front panel!!!! i am doing this as part of a big application and i dont want the customer to sit there clicking with the pointer toll and getting bewildered.How do i automatically change the cursor in the case this cannot be fixed?
i checked the tabbing order and stuff in the vI.Cant see any problem there......

What do you have on the panel? There's only a few things that make a running VI show a pointer (i.e. menu bar and scroll bar). What version of LabVIEW? Do you see the same thing in the development environment? Can you post the VI?

i do not have any toolbars or menus on the panel.version 6.1. i do not see the same thing in the development environment.i am sorry i cannot post the vi as it is proprietary work. this happens only when i install the exe on a win 2k machine

It sounds like "the certain point" of your application is not currently running (it is idle). If the VI is not running, then you can tab through the controls, otherwise it should work automatically.

Make sure that you don't have the "suspend when called" option set in "vi properties" for the problematic sub VI.
