Move text in icon editor using arrow keys

One of my "Rookies" (I should probably stop calling them that now) showed me that I can using the arrow keys to move text (while typing) or a selected field using the arrow keys.

I did not know that!

Did you?

Why didn't you tell me?

Cool, I didn't know that either...I always lasso with the select tool.  This sounds good enough to be a nugget someday...

Funny you should mention that, because I could have sworn that I learned this particular trick in a nugget.  I looked through the history, and there it wasn't. 

A very handy trick when you are as anal about icon text as I am.

I think someone should have put them in the upgrade notes, this would certainly triggered Ben

BTW, this is one of the few things i've learned from the LV8 release day, and heard it was already in 7 implemented

I use it since LV6.1, don't know how I figured out. Before I was also typing, marking and moving.

Wasn't it in LV5.1 or so, where in every start screen a 'nugget' was presented?

Maybe that feature should be reimplemented. And all geeks will screen the database

I use it since LV6.1 as well - that's when I started with LV.

Ben - don't worry. Even the "three gold bars" can not know everything... 😉

I was even worse than that! When I would look up at the icon (I am not a touch typer) and see the text was off, I'd DELETE IT, reposition my text tool and type it AGAIN.

I've done that so many times, I got to the point where I could look at the "^" and tell if my text would end up in the right place.
