Must have RTX 6.1 to load 8.0?

When installing the Real-Time Module (RTX) for Windows 2000/XP ( of the NI Academic Site License Spring 2006 pack) the installer says "You must have RTX Runtime 6.1 or later installed before you install this product." (and then aborts). Isn't this a stand-alone installation? Was I supposed to install another disk first?

I have installed these disks:
Labview 8.0 Porfessional Development System for Windows 2000/XP
Device Driver Reference CD disks 1 and 2.
labview 8.0 DSP Module
labview 8.0 Simulation Module
labview 8.0 DSP Module
NI-RIO version 2.0 (not of Academic Site License pack)

Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom,

LabVIEW Real-Time for RTX Module is typically included with one license of the RTX run time engine. The only exception is if you have purchased an academic site license. For tracking purposes in this case, you must purchase the RTX run-time license separately.  Please take a look at the following knowledgebase article.

LabVIEW Real-Time Module for RTX Installer Requires RTX Run Time
