Thanks for your post and I hope your well.
It has been sometime since you've posted - so I do hope you resolved your issue. But I just wanted to offer my support just incase.
This sounds like a MAX Database Corruption - going by some research into similar symptoms previous customers have seen. The resolution was to follow the guidance written in the following knowledgebase article,

However - I do have some questions:
1. Have they always been missing?
2. Could you please post a screenshot of what you MAX looks like?
