My toolbox disappeared!!

In linux, I am unable to open the toolbox palette; the other ones work fine, but nothign happens when I try the toolbox. Are there any ways to reset/recover the box?

If you goto Window >> Show Tools Palette and you don't see the toolbox, it's usually because you inadvertantly moved it off the screen previously. Goto Window >> Show Tools Palette and look around the borders of the screen for a small piece of the toolbox. LabView 6 and 7 for Windows also makes sure the toolbox position is on the screen the next time you start. I don't know if Linux does something different.

If these suggestions don't help you find it, you might want to open your
ini file and either change the coordinates for the toolPaletteLoc item
to place it onscreen, or delete it entirely.

You can also get at the tool menu temporarily by shift right clicking.
