NI 9145 Error 0xFFFEFE26 An internal error occurred: the device identity data is not valid for this I/O plug-in.

Hi,

i'm using Labview 2023Q3 23.3.5f5 using one cRIO 90587 with two NI 9145 devices. The crio hast 8 c series modules, the first ethercat chassis also. The second ethercat chassis has only 2. Now i added further 3 c-series moduls to the second ethercat chassis. Every module is compatible with the NI9145. Deploying them causes the error:

0xFFFEFE26 An internal error occurred: the device identity data is not valid for this I/O plug-in.

Putting only one module or restarting the crio system or reinstalling ethercat driver, or removing and adding again (firmware update and so on...)....nothing helps.

Now i have no idea to get further with it. Removing the second ni 9145 device and adding it to the project again produces this error also on module 1 and 2, which worked before removing and adding the chassis in the project.

I ran into this same error when adding an additional C-series module to a NI-9145 chassis that's connected to a cRIO - attempted restarting, reconnecting, etc. The solution that ended up working was to Undeploy and then Deploy the EtherCAT Master from the project structure.

i will try it again, but i created a new project, added the crio 9057 and then both NI 9145, with the same problem.
