NI 9237: True strain or Engineering strain ?

Hi guys,

Thanks for reading my query.

I am bit confused about the measurement from my beloved NI 9237.

I am using 120 ohms strain gauges with NI 9237, having gauge factor of 2.1.

I want to know that the strain I am measuring is True strain or Engineering strain ?

Kindly let me know, and once again thanks for reading my question.
