Thank you Catherine.. Actually i have found your first suggestion by myself yesterday and it works quite well! Maybe i will also try to upgrade the DAQmx software.

Best regards.

Hi all

I came across this thread while having what seems to be a similar problem. Thought I would start here to get some help. I recently updated from Labview 8.3 to Labview 2013 SP1. I use a PXI-8196, and upgraged the Labview version and DAXmq version on it as well. I have a large VI with many subVIs that runs our primary hardware system. The VI and all dependencies that run on the host PC open and run without errors, but when I try to open and run the Target VI on the PXI, I get the "nothing to deploy, deployment completed successfully" message mentioned by the other two users on the thread. There are no errors, but the VI does not enter it's running state.

I have followed the suggestion of creating all tasks/channels in MAX, then calling the Task constants in the VIs. But this has not solved my problem. Does anyone else have a suggestion? Should this known issue have been fixed with Labview 2013 SP1?

Thanks

Eric

Update on the previous post... I had failed to delete the task that was saved in my project that I had replaced with the MAX task. Once I deleted the old task from the project, the VI executed properly.
