Currently at work I have been tasked with upgrading and downloading and testing NI myDAQ on the HP tablet laptops. Using the software it came with (NI ELVISmx 4.5) I haven't been able to get it to work correctly, since I'm not very experienced with this I will post anything I have and if anything else is needed please ask and I will get it:
Microsoft Windows XP
Tablet PC Edition 2005
Service Pack 3
HP
Intel (R) Core (TM)2CPU
T5600@1.83GHz
1.83GHz.0.99GB of Ram
Physical Address Extension
LabVIEW version 11 (32-bit)
Everytime I attempt to open the instrument launcher once the download is completed, I get an error report and with the opition of debugging it, it says "an unhandled win32 exception occured in niiql.exe". I have attempted to repair it several times, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, I have even attempted to use older versions of the driver. Is there anything else I can try? Any help would be most appreciated, I have been fighting this for a week now.
Best,
Kelsey

Good day Kelsey,
Often, when I see this type of situations I recommend a clean installation and this normally fixes all problems. It may take a little while but, it is worth the try:
1. Uninstall all NI software from the Add/Remove software utility in windows (KB 2V97P72H).
2. Then Delete all the leftover folders related to NI on the root folder(C), Program Files, Program Data and Documents.
3. Ran a registry cleanup utility (I like to use Cclean because it’s free and you can back up the registry files before deleting anything).
4. Reboot the PC and now you are clear to install the NI software back. Remember the order of installation: ADEs (LabVIEW) comes first, then toolkits and modules, last the drivers (DAQmx & ElVISmx).
Let me know how it goes. Plus, consider an OS upgrade since Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft.
Regards,
