NI FBUS Configurator 4.1

Have loaded and activated Configurator 4.1.  Open the Communications Manager successfully and then open Configurator.  Cannot get the configuration tree to display on the interface.  The live list tab shows that the device is identified and the Dialog utility sees the device and the function blocks.  The interface is very restrictive and appears to be operating in a mode that suggests that the software has not been activated.  Using Windows 7 Enterprise edition.
