I have the same problem:
On a Windows10 PC i get this error message "NI-Farm: Client received unexpected or bad data from the server". I have tried the 5 steps described early in the topic, and also tried repairing LabVIEW FPGA and Xilinx tools, disabling firewall etc., always to end up with the same error message.
I am using the local compile server.
In IE i get the message "Logged in as admin" when i open http://localhost:3580/ and the rest of the page is blank.
I also have an old Win7 computer with the same LabVIEW versions installed, and there FPGA compilation works fine.
Versions installed:
- LabVIEW 2018, with FPGA and real-time module
- NI FPGA Xilinx compilation tools for Vivado 2017.2
- NI Farm server 2018
If i read the compatibility tables correctly, this setup shopuld be compatible with Windows10 and cRIO-9048. But still i get the same error message no matter what i do.
Any suggestions how to solve this?
