On an XP PC with LV2012 SP1 we installed an executable built with LV2013 SP1 and updated MAX (to 5.6) and NI-Motion (to 8.5.1). The issue is: An executable using the 2012 SP1 f5 run-time engine doesn't work anymore, it closes a few seconds after starting (the window never maximize). The same applies to NI I/O Trace (we tried to launch it to see if we could see something). The 2012 SP1 f5 run-time engine appear in MAX software list.
Note that the development code in LV 2012 SP1 is still working, We tried to redo an executable but it's not working. In the to do list we will try reinstalling MAX.
Any idea?

A coworker will contact NI today. I'll inform you if we find something.

Ben,
I got a reply from NI with an installer for LV2012 SP1 F7. I ran this and all seems to be well once more. Sadly, before i recieved this i went through the pain of uninstalling and replacing my entire LV2012 and 2013 suite. How are you getting on?

We didn't find a fix and decided to use the development code (it's for internal use). We tried to reinstall RTE 2012 SP1 f5 but it didn't fix the problem. After the testing is over I will probably spend some time on this to try to understand what happened and to avoid it in the future. Thanks for the follow-up.
