NI-IMAQ 1394 image display

Hello,

I'm a beginner in Labview and I'm trying to build a VI that displays an image snapped with a camera connected to an IEEE 1394 board. The problem is that the type of the image out output of IMAQ IEEE 1394 functions is not the same as the one of the other imaq functions and the image display indicator.
How can I convert it in order to use IMAQ IEEE 1394 functions with other IMAQ functions such as IMAQcreate for instance?

Thank you for your help !

What versions of LabVIEW and IMAQ IEEE-1394 are you using? The IMAQ
handle has changed between LabVIEW 6.1 and 7.0 and if you are not using
the versions of the VI libraries to match your LabVIEW version you may
have some troubles.

I use Labview 7.0 and NI-IMAQ IEEE 1394 1.1.
Thank you for your answer, I,m going to see if there is a newer version for the NI IMAQ.

Hello Vanessa,

You must install the newest version of NI-IMAQ IEEE 1394 1.5.1.
You can do that for free by downloading it from : www.alliancevision.com.
Use the part Number : 850 413 E-03

Hello,

To download the driver, you should pass by the technical support of Alliance VISION.
So, in the web site, go to "Support technique" and click on "Ask question". There, you can ask the engineers to provide you the driver of your device.
