NI Linux Real-Time (for sbRIO-9607) Firmware Update

Hi,

I have two sbRIO9607 devices with Firmware Versions 4.0.0f0 (NI Linux Real-Time ARMv7-A 4.1.15-rt17-ni-4.0.0f1) and 3.0.0f0 (NI Linux Real-Time ARMv7-A 3.14.40-rt37-ni-3.0.0f2). I want to update the related old firmware with the newest version published.

I see there is a "Update Firmware" button on Web-Configuration Page, however it ask for a .cfg file, which I could not find anywhere on NI website. Instead, there is some drivers called "nilrt-nilrt-16.0" and "NIXNET1751". These drivers do not contain any Linux Kernel .cfg firmware file. Is there any exact link you might know for the NI Linux Real-Time firmware?

Hello onrep,

The location of all firmware files is <Program Files>\National Instruments\Shared\Firmware\

For the sbRIO-9607, the folder name should be 77D6, under the cRIO folder.

According to your given information I am now able to at least match the same firmware versions to all of my sbRIOs. However, the firmware versions are not up to date. Is there anywhere to find the very last release of the sbRIO9607 firmware?

The most recent firmware should install with the latest NI CompactRIO Device Drivers.
