NI MAX doesn't show network devices

Hello,

I am using Lab View for the very first time.

I want to connect to a hardware which is on a network and I can connect to it using command prompt.

However, when I try to open network devices in NI-MAX, it doesn't show any devices.

Option to add network device is also not working.

I am using evaluation (trial) version of LabView but I don't think that is a problem.

Can anyone please help me with the issue?

What is the device,?  What version of LabVIEW?  Which version of NI Device Drivers?  What OS?  That is really important information.  MAX only detects certain network devices.
